The screen overlay was very hard to apply without air bubbles. Fortunately I bought two because I ruined the first one trying to get to go on straight. The second wasn’t much better. I was unable to remove all the air bubbles. It is important to protect the screen but I’m still looking for one that works.

4 Stars Does what I needed
I’m satisfied with the results of the Belkin Screen Overlay. It was very easy to apply. Under certain lighting conditions the overlay has a rainbow effect which I found mildly distracting. I haven’t tried other screen overlays, but I think that overall this is a good buy (3-Pack) and it does a good job at protecting the screen on my iPod Touch.

5 Stars Pretty (and safe) in Pink
This case is terrific. It protects my iPod Touch and allows full access to the buttons, headphone jack and touch screen. The only time it has to be removed is when I charge it with my wall charger (a non-Apple item); the USB plug is wider than the opening in the case. It’s also a very charming shade of pink and the quality is surprisingly high for the price I paid. Highly recommended.

4 Stars Great…except for the smell..
The cover came perfectly…and even before the estimated time. I was really happy about the shipping and it seems to fit my itouch perfectly.

My only complaint is that is smells like gasoline or something…

At first I didnt notice it but when I started using my itouch in it, the smell caused headaches..I dont know if this smell is just manufacturing….or if it will go away..

By far the best, and easiest of all the screen protectors that I’ve used. I got it on the first try, with no air bubbles at all. It basically put itself on. It covers the whole screen, even under the home button. Would definetively buy again. Great product-worth the $15.

I had another screen protector on my ipod and it took about 10 minutes for me to get it on and it still has air bubbles all over. I bought having other griffin products and liking them. These are definitely worth it, even at 15 bucks. This protector is a little stiff and very easy to put on. It took 30 seconds to put it on and NO bubbles. Not sure why you would need 5 in a pack but they are great.

4 Stars Protect your investment!
A must have for any Apple iPod touch 16 GB (1st Generation) or Apple iPod touch 8 GB (2nd Generation) owner. If you are like me and hate the idea of possible scratches, smudges or finger prints on your screen then you have to buy this screen care kit. Like many others have notated on other reviews, the instructions are not worth even looking at. Just read the explanations on the reviews on how to apply the film (thank you to the reviewers who posted them). This film is much easier to apply than others I have tried. I had NO air bubbles or lint. I did not have to be re-adjusting or clipping corners because it hung over the sides of my iPod.

Perfect price for “FIVE” screen covers and no-lint cleaning cloth. Now keep in mind that the human body has oils in their skin and occasionally you have to wipe the screen cover to clean the oily residue. I normally just use a small cloth with a very a tiny amount of mild dish soap and water to wipe it clean since you do not want water drops to fall in the unit itself.

The product is worth 5 stars but since the instructions were not helpful I gave it four stars.

5 Stars Just about perfect
Recently purchased an ipod Touch 8GB 2G, and needed something to protect it and help with the ton of fingerprints on the front and back. Looked around and had some trouble determing what was best for my needs as I wanted screen protection and the ability to use the dock with my Logitech speakers.

Unlike others I had no issues putting on the screen protection, and the case just snaps on easily (I haven’t tried to remove it yet.)

No complaints .. the dock adapter works great .. actually it works better that the one that came with the touch. Very happy with purchase.

5 Stars Great protection and good looking too.
The ClearShield is easy to install, has a helpful removable screen protector (in case you mess up getting it on the first time) and, being clear, allows you to see the back of your iPod touch, which is essential if you have engraving and it looks cool even if you do not. The shield does not add much at all either to the weight or to the bulkiness of the iPod which is great. The one warning (not a criticism) is that the case is very smooth so do not expect it to have as sure a grip as a rubber case, but there are groves on the side that greatly enhance the tactility of the case over the unprotected iPod while still adding a very protective layer. Personally, I like the smoothness as it allows me to get it out of my pocket easily and a rubber case would surely require more effort.

4 Stars very nice looking case!
So I’ve had this case for about a week or so…I love the look and design, it looks really nice and sleek. Doesn’t add bulk at all. The one thing is that it is kinda slippery when your hands are dry..but if your hands are sweaty its not..LOL..idk…I’ve dropped it a few times bc of that but only on a table thank god. ALSO I have dropped it on tile floor at school when it was in my sweater pocket, VERY GOOD PROTECTION. The case didn’t break apart or anything like how other ones would..and it was a pretty high drop.

The screen protecter seems pretty good quality to me. It’s glare proof, but because of that it makes the screen a bit grainy, but I don’t mind. Easy to put on, but i kinda messed up the placement cus I was rushing..so DON’T RUSH while applying. Doesn’t smudge too bad either. Shouldn’t have air bubbles if you know how to apply it..it’s pretty hard plastic so it should be easy to apply without bubbles.

PROS:

-nice, sleek, not bulky

-clear

-durable, good protection if you drop it. Won’t break open.

-good screen protector ~scratch resistant, glare proof, nice feel, smudges don’t show as much

-docking adaptor…though I don’t use it

CONS:

-The holes for ports and the corner where there’s a hole to put a coin to open it causes dust to get in..and scratches your ipod a bit. But I think all cases are like that..correct me if I’m wrong. I just get a little tape and put it on the corner to block the hole. Also open to clean it once in a while.

-Kinda slippery if your hands are dry

-scratches…of course it does, but yeah…lol

-PRICE! needs to lower atleast $10

I’ve researched a bit online for cases and so far this seems to me like the best one out there…so if your thinking about buying this one…JUST BUY IT!…it’s good :]

2 Stars What a dissapointment.
I put this in my 07 350z, and honestly wish I just left the stock head unit in.

When scrolling through music, which takes long periods of time due to having to wait several seconds for each new batch of 4 displayable songs/ sub menus to show, frequently slots won’t update with the song they now represent.

An example would be:

California Love

Let Down

Sensimilla

Lover, You Should Have Come Over

After scrolling down a set, when the music is supposed to update, you’ll frequently be left with a new menu set that looks like:

Ghetto Pop Life

Hotel California

Sensimilla

Wicked Rebel

The slot occupying the song sensimilla won’t update in appearance, yet when you select the song, the actual song that holds that slot in the playlist will play (as opposed to the song that appears). This can lead to confusing situations while scrolling through music, something that should be very streamlined considering that you’ll probably be driving while messing around with this terrible touch screen.

My other gripes:

The Artist sub menu of the iPod menu doesn’t work for me

The touch screen is frequently unresponsive

The two knobs are small and hard to use

The only way to display song information is to open the display, there’s no lcd present when it’s folded

The buttons present on the face, beneath the dvd slot don’t have backlighting

I gave it a two because it features iPod integration and the idea of a screen popping out of your dash is kinda neat. I’d still recommend staying away, it seems like the 6.5″ stationary screens are much better than these motorized ones.

4 Stars Awesome in-dash DVD player, but…..
This is one fantastic car stereo, but it has two flaws, IMHO…

First, the volume knob is quite small and doesn’t protrude out very far, making it difficult to turn the volume up or down while driving, especially on bumpy roads. I think Clarion should have done two things here. One, make the volume knob pop out farther with a push and then push back into place. Second make the volume control adjustable on-screen, either by dragging and dropping the volume bar or by pushing the icons for more volume or less volume. Either or both of these changes would greatly improve the controls.

Secondly, for some reason if the stereo isn’t on the Ipod input when you turn the car off, then it will not recognize that there is an Ipod attached when you turn the car on until you remove and re-attach the Ipod, which is not a huge deal, unless you keep the Ipod in your locked glove-box then it is a pain in the ……

For these two reasons I give it four stars, but other than that it is AWESOME!!! And, as always, Amazon is impeccably priced and their service is top-notch!!!

Also, one last note…I wanted to redo my interior with more brushed aluminum and this stereo looks killer in the dash. I love the brushed aluminum look!

5 Stars Great product, Mailing Overkill
As this is not the first screen saver I have purchased I know when it is quality. This one is. It has the double pull tabs to remove the protective layers. The “film” actually flows on and, as long as you pay attention and do it slowly, there will be no pockets of bubbles.

It is worth the price, but, if the cost of mailing is for real it could have been sent in a regular envelope for 42c instead of $3.

This player is indeed a great alternative to the ipod touch. I would even say that its better than the ipod touch because it has more features like bluetooth and radio. The touch screen aint nothing like the apple but it works fine. The software is cool too.

I bought this on a recommendation that it was the same as the iPod touch but a lot cheaper. It was neither. It lacks the soft touch of the iPod touch, the main menu is hard to get too – or maintain once you’re there. The screen seems to be a lot smaller although in reality it really isn’t. The buttons are on the small side so you don’t always get what you touch. Mp4 files in an iTunes library are not compatible. Bottom line – spend the extra $40 and get the original – I did…

This kameleon deck is freakin sweet! I just installed it, and I must say, I was very nervous because I have never even SEEN one operated in person. I looked on YouTube, etc. but nothing! 4 Stars Great until you drop it the second time.
I was incredibly excited for this mp4 player to come, waiting with anticipation that I might have had my leg pulled (all these great features for only $80? o_O) or that it might turn out to be junk. Nevertheless, I’ve never had something like this before, and I couldn’t wait to try it out. I ordered it on Wednesday and quickly got it on Friday (yesterday).

So, I hurriedly open the box, and there falls out a TOUCH SCREEN PEN, which I was not expecting nor was it advertised on here, I don’t think. It was a nice surprise, and it’s mighty helpful in navigating through the corner options which sometimes are too small to activate with a finger.

The whole outlook of the player is of something that would cost much more. It really is sleek and cool.

The EARPHONES have a volume control of their own, by the way.

And the TOUCH SCREEN: I honestly cannot imagine anything else that should work better. It works just as it should, with no need to touch twice or harder etc. And the QUALITY of the screen is awesome, but it mostly depends on the quality of the original file.

TRANSFERRING FILES: No setting up needed, just as easy as they said. Plug the player into your computer, and send your files to Removable Disk (R.Disk J: in my case). It is only a one step procedure.

You can also record from FM stations. I love that.

eBOOK: You can transfer any text document (Word, pdf and so on) by copying and pasting the text to Notepad. It is so amazingly easy, BUT it is choppy to read on the player, with lines, words, symbols missing in some places.

I have put at least one file to each of the different functions (photos, videos .. ) without converting first, so I know they work.

Then there comes the stuff that takes off a star, however much I don’t like taking a star away

When I turn the player on, it doesn’t automatically go to the song it was playing before it was turned off. It doesn’t go back to it even when I go to Music, so I have to start all over again.

- There is no hole/place to insert my touch screen pen. Besides the pouch that came with the player, but I’m not gonna be wearing that around my neck…

Overall, I’m happy with this product for the price I paid for it; it is gonna be quite useful.

2nd edit: In case you’re wondering if this player withstands a fall outside on a CEMENT surface, then yes it definitely does. Speaking from first hand experience.

3rd edit: I don’t know if it’s because I dropped it once, but its battery has been dying real fast. I’d leave it charging for hours, but it’d die not 2 hours after use and would shut off while I’m listening, and over time the 2 hour life would keep on decreasing.. :’( This is such a bummer..

4th and last edit: Is it a month? later that I have my player fall (pretty hard) from my hands on tiles which cracks the screen and disables the touch screen once and for all, so it’s now basically useless. Sad. Sad. Sad. Gotta make some money to buy a more expensive player that will stand true to its value and withstand all this thrashing next time.

5 Stars Stylish, lightweight and great for the price
I got this player over a month and loving it. I normally use it for video but occasionally for music. The sound is good with headphone. Love the external speaker. I added a 8GB micro SD HC and it works. Now I have a 16GB player.

Pros:

> touch screen, no need to use the pen

> great picture quality

> love the metallic blue

> external speaker

> can display chinese and english characters

> extra memory slot (work on PNY 8GB micro sd HC).

Cons:

> screen hard to read in daylight. Similar to cell phone screen.

> would prefer a better case instead of a bag. I replaced with something I had.

Overall, I’m satisfy with the product. If a firmware is available, I will love to upgrade.

you get what you pay for. the products is slick looking and is a good value. below are the pro and cons to it.

Pro’s: price; easy to use…just plug and transfer files from your computer to the unit. if you know how to use an IPOD then you can figure this one out.

Con’s:

1/3 of my MP3 files received format error when I try to play them on this unit

DOES NOT PLAY MP4 movies. I will try to convert my MP4 movies to WMA format and see if that will work.

Good luck in trying to interpret the Chinglish instructions…comical had they not pertain to the product I just shelled out money for!

Very disappointing. How is it possible for you guys to sell electronic stuff with no instructions? This product sucks big time, the retractable sync data cable is useful but the screen protectors messed up the touch screen. i am lost to figure out how the radio transmitter works or attach the speakers. Fun. Got a pile of junk.

3 Stars Screen Covers Don’t Work; No Instructions
I was impressed by most of the equipment in this package – except for the fact that nothing came with any instructions. Probably most people would know how to unfold the Foldable Speaker and use it, and run the LCD FM Transmitter – but I did not. Having instructions would have helped me figure things out a lot faster. Also, the two screen protectors were worthless. Firstly, I could not get the sticky tabs off the protectors. The paper came off but I was left with two tab-sized gluey surfaces that left sticky spots on my iTouch screen. The tabs were unnecessary, anyway, the way the protector was packaged. Secondly, the screen protectors didn’t stick to the surface of the iTouch screen so I couldn’t use them. Again, the instructions were vague at best. I loved the silicone skin cases, especially the pink and blue cases. They did cover the lovely metal back on my iTouch, but they looked great on. Aside from these two problems it’s a fairly good buy.
