The Inspire iPod/iPhone Car Charger is designed with elegants and style in mind . The Charger allows iPod users to charge their iPod while on the go and listen to there favorite tunes at the same time. It features Apple’s Dock Connector on one end, and a car power adapter on the other that fits both standard and auxiliarycar power outlets. Its compact design and retractable coil cord store easily when not in use. Built-in charging circuitry protects your car against back-flow current and your iPod from excessive electrical loads.

Sure wish I’d known that before I ordered it and paid for expedited shipping (which I didn’t get!). They’ve updated the product description but I’m guessing only after selling a whole bunch of these and making a little bank on the shipping charges.

1 Star Does not charge iPhone 3G
Beware! This device will not charge the new iPhone 3G. I did not test it with the other devices with which compatibility is claimed.

1 Star A Horrible Purchase
I didn’t receive the item pictured. The part I did receive actually makes my 3rd gen. ipod play music garbled after around 30 seconds of playback. The product is junk (whichever product it is that I DID receive), and the company untrustworthy. Don’t waste your time or money with either.

5 Stars Perfect ipod touch 2nd AV Cable
Due to so many negative reviews, I was frustrated to buy and get the perfect AV cable for my ipod touch 2g. But this one works perfectly. I,m able to watch my movies on my TV. Go for it you ‘ll be satisfied.

4 Stars Wow! This shizzle works with iPhone 3G!
I’m surprise the music, video, and photo viewing working with this thing. I took a chance on this due to the other guy’s review and because I need a sync cable to sync between my iphone and the laptop. My iphone is running on 2.2 firmware, unlocked, & jailbroken.

I think that the audio might not be that good. But that’s just a quick test, I’ll update the rating after later.

Overall, I like it. I have an extra sync cable that I can hood up my iPhone to the TV. YEH!

5 Stars Works perfectly with iPhone 3g ver 2.2.1
Great product – allows me to watch videos stored on my iPhone, and lets me stream YouTube videos to the screen. Works great in my Honda Odyssey minivan which comes with an Aux input but would work with any TV with an AV input.

Product feels like good quality too. Glad I purchased, it’s exactly what I wanted and MUCH cheaper than the apple version.
