1 Star This kit does not charge the iPhone 3G
This kit will charge an ipod nano but NOT an iPhone. When you plug in an iPhone you see that the status is “charging” but the battery level does not increase. Your phone will go dead soon if you leave it plugged in. I have tried both the car charger and the home plug in. Neither work and I have tried multiple iPhones. Too good to be true – stick with official chargers for this phone I guess.

Items works as described for iPod touch. Somebody has given wrong feedback. I called bargainCell about that, they told one has to contact for replacement.

I have the 120gb ipod classic and not one of the 3 chargers work with it. I gave the 2nd star because the chargers them selves are of decent quality and may work with other ipod models but they do not work with my ipod.

1 Star mic does not work with 2nd generation ipod touch
2nd generation ipod touch does have mic support but it does not recognize the mic on this although it claims support for ipod touch.

1 Star Don’t waste your money
This was billed out as working on the Touch ipod so I can have a mic to use Skype. No way…..don’t waste your money. I bought 2 of these and neither worked. These are cheap, but only the Apple ones work with the Touch. I found out the hard way.

1 Star Mic doesn’t work
Their communication is pretty good, but there’s no purpose of having good communication if your product is horrible. I didn’t receive my first one because it got lost in the mail, so I emailed and they responded very quickly. When I received the second one, the mic didn’t work and all that could be heard when speaking in it were clicking noises. After contacting them, I received another one very quickly(my third one), and this time the mic didn’t work at all. After this I gave up and didn’t bother to contact them again because I spent more time and effort on this product than what it was actually worth.

4 Stars Nifty Little Charger
Pros: charges my son’s 2nd gen iTouch on his nightstand instead of from the family computer; holds iTouch horizontally for easy viewing of videos; has decent speakers; is small in size.

Cons: volume control is very sensitive- it goes from low to high volume without a middle range; it has no plug for the wall- you need to buy an adapter if you want to power the unit on its own.

One final note: It seems the unit was designed for the iPhone, not the iTouch. The iTouch is thinner, so when docked, there is a gap behind the iTouch of about 1/8″. I put two felt pads on the unit so that the iTouch wouldn’t wobble when docked, and that solved my concern.

4 Stars Almost Perfect!!!
I say almost perfect because there is only two things that would put it over the top. First the Good Stuff, this unit is great for music or video the sound is good, not alot of Bass but not to tinney for a unit this size. I spend 3 weeks out to the month on the road in hotel rooms all over the world. It’s small enough to fit in my bag not too heavy like some of the other units I have tried. It lets you watch movies in the “widescreen” mode, I looked at alot of others and none gave you that feature.The multiple position arm is great for watching movies in multi sitting or laying positions. I don’t think there is another unit that does that. It recharges your iTouch/iPhone while in the cradle while you are playing it, also a plus.

Ok now for the two things I Wish it had, one; it should have come with it’s own DC cable everyone will not know that you can use any USB AC charging unit with it, or at least state it in the ads. Two; a headphone jack. I plued my headphones into the iTouch while in the unit to see if it would work and of course it did not. I say this because of its size, its just right to sit on the “Airplanes Tray Table” to watch a movie without the external speakers. They tend to frown on you when you do that sitting in the middle seat. All in all I would recommend this unit to someone else. Thank you EFORCITY for your forward thinking.

4 Stars So Far, Not Bad… Not Perfect, but Not Bad
I ordered this compact speaker system in particular for one reason; it allows your IPod Touch to be in the horizontal position while docked so that you can watch movies in the “full” widescreen position. My wife is nearly eight months pregnant, so if she’s getting ready for bed, I can take a movie I’ve rented and load it onto the IPod. Instead of having to share headphones, we plug it into the speaker system. The structure that holds the IPod can tilt, so we lock it into place, lay back, and watch the movie until she’s ready to conk out.

Usually, that’s about 8 minutes. A movie lasts a LONG time this way!

It works splendidly for our purpose. No, it is definitively NOT a Bose product. The clarity will not make you imagine that you’re in a theatre or concert-quality environment. It has a clarity of sound that is perhaps a little bit better than the transistor radio that the castaways used on Gillagan’s Island, so do NOT buy this if you’re looking for outstanding sound; you’ll definitely be disappointed.

That said, my brother-in-law and I have been listening to my IPod while sheetrocking what will soon be the baby’s nursery, and we certainly enjoy it being there. It’s not a party atmosphere — we both hate sanding and mudding sheetrock — but we’re grateful to have some tunes, even though they’re not in quadraphonic sound.

The unit itself is rechargable with a USB cable the same way the IPod recharges through your computer. The max volume is actually pretty loud, louder than I expected. It can definitely make you run for the volume knob or the off switch if the phone rings!

I really am grateful for the multiple-position arm when viewing movies in bed, and so far, I have not yet seen another horizontal-mount compact speaker system for IPod, although that doesn’t mean there aren’t any others out there. If you’re thinking about getting this for the same reason I got it, you should definitely Google a few times to make sure there’s not something new out there.

I will say this; for the price, which was almost exactly $30 with shipping, this compact speaker system is a really good deal. I am very happy with it, and would certainly buy it again.

When I saw how much the apple wall charger adapter was, I was shocked! So I ordered this 1 and I was very skepitical about this. Just got it 2day and its working flawlessly charging my ipod touch 2g! Came in 2 days!! GET THIS ONE INSTEAD OF BLOWING UR MONEY ON THE 30 dollar 1.

5 Stars Fast charger
Got this for my 2nd gen ipod touch, 16G, and it works great. I am able to use the ipod while charging, too. In one hour, it is fully charged. Yes, the plastic is cheap, but I doubt the nicer material on the Apple brand charger is worth the extra $25. One difference from the computer charger is that to connect, you have to squeeze the sides before inserting into the ipod (and squeeze again before disconnecting) but that’s not a big deal.

2 Stars You get what you pay for . . .
As many others have stated before, the suction cup is not quality, at all. It barely hung on for a few seconds if I was lucky. And as for the “flexible arm”. It takes a fair amount of strength just to bend it to the desired position. I bought this a month ago and it is still in my glove box, to much of a hastle to even deal with. If you still wish to buy this product by all means go ahead but just know this isnt going to be the most easy product to deal with.

1 Star Not iPod Touch 2nd Generation compatible
I was one of the unlucky ones who got a wall charger that it’s advertised as 2G compatible, but it just makes my iPod goes “crazy” when I connect this crappy charger. By crazy, I mean, it goes off and on repeatedly like it was being disconnected and connected back again from the wall outlet and it never stops. This is for the wall charger only, but I’m not so willing now to even try the car charger after this mishap. I guess the “you get what you paid for” phrase is ringing loudly through my ears…

Both chargers work with iPod Touch 2nd generation. I’ve learned the hard way that many accessories for the iPod Touch 1st generation do not fully support the 2G, but these chargers are fine.

The tip is very sticky (like an eraser) so…you only point and click…don’t even think of dragging, drawing, or any motion with it. The only motion will be : push it towards the screen

Actually, yes, you do have to push it, push lightly but it gets tiring fast because the body is slippery, so you have to grip it firm when you push. I am looking to find something to wrap around it to add grip.
