Apple iPod touch 8 GB 1st Generation
Apple iPod touch 8 GB 1st Generation

(not the iPhone) With the Apple iPod touch, Apple has married the iPhone’s revolutionary multi-touch interface to their popular digital media player. So instead of a Click Wheel, you just use your fingers to flick through your music, photos, and video. Two fingers can be used in a pinching or spreading motion as well, which zooms in and out of photos and web pages. That’s right, the iPod touch is the first iPod to offer web access. It does this via built-in Wi-Fi support. There’s even a special iTunes Wi-Fi Store, so you can browse and purchase new music and video while you’re on the road. The latest iPod touch now offers a suite of new applications, including email, maps, and handy widgets for weather, notes, and stocks. The new iPod touch also features a customizable home screen that lets you rearrange buttons and create your own Web Clips. 5 Stars Apple iPod touch 16 GB 1st Generation
Apple iPod touch 16 GB (1st Generation)
Comes with no instructions, but I guess that the norm., When you plug it in to your computer, then the fun starts. So many things to choose from, I’m still learning but I enjoy it very much, I haven’t listened to so much music since I was younger. I got the 1st generation because I wasn’t sure I would like it. My son has the iPhone touch and he said try it, am I glad I did
Get one you won’t be sorry. Good battery life, unless playing games.

5 Stars A Must Have!
I’m not sure what I did before it. I don’t know how to function without it. I highly recommend it.
That it being, Apple’s iPod Touch. As Apple says, “The funnest IPod ever!” Fun is exactly what this iPod is. You can listen to music, watch movies, surf the web, check the weather, play games, and so much more.
The design is sleek and stylish. I think the 2nd generation’s body is a bit slimmer. The screen quality is flawless. I recommend the newer version because of software upgrades and some features that are missing in the 1st generation.
Either way new or old this is a purchase, you won’t regret. The only “bad” thing I can say is the battery life is good if you’re just listening to music. When you start surfing the web and playing games it eats it up. Every once in a while your screen may freeze, nothing major though.
Overall, this iPod is the thing to have. This would make a great gift for all ages. Fun for everyone with the iPod Touch! (JRS)
5 Stars Apple iPod “Touch” – 32 Gig.: 1st Gen.
Very Impressed! My stepson (14 y.o.) downloaded ‘hundreds’ of songs on this iPod unit and ‘liked it a lot’ (’til it was stolen from him by an estranged friend). * * * Note * * * This is a hot item! I should have bought another one for myself – Big 80’s Fan!
5 Stars Nearly as good as my old 5.5 gen.
I got the 16gb ipod touch last summer, when it was the largest ipod available. I am extremely impressed with its durability, the chrome backing is absolutly torn to shreds (Ditch the chrome backplate apple) and its been dropped and kicked and scraped all over the place. I highly reccomend buying the 2.0 update. its well worth it. The apps available make the ipod touch a truly enjoyable product. That being said, i believe the 5.5 gen. was the best ipod ever made. But after it was stolen from my locker at the gym, i decidded to go all gimmicky and get the ipod touch. Aside from the fact that you cant download java player for a hightened online experience, this is one hell of an ipod, and its not fragile at all. This thing is an 8 millimeter thin tank.
2 Stars Return policy=Not Good
I received my Apple ipod touch in December, and within the first week I noticed that it started to freeze up, when i was playing music, playing a game or searching the web. Recently I have gotten so frustrated with my ipod freezing that I sent it back to Apple. Apple emailed me back and said they could find nothing wrong and sent my ipod back. So make sure that if you buy the apple ipod touch that you are prepared to go to war with the company to get a new one.
